Can we please get rid of china town?

I was wondering if we could get rid of Chinatown and replace it with showdown or countdown. I personally hate china town and I've noticed a lot of the players don't like it when it comes up in the rotation. Thanks

Yes, I agree. Showdown should be added into the mix. But Chinatown, while it being a pain in the ass, gives us something sort of FRESH to play... Just my two cents.

I don't know why but I really don't like this map, I used to like it in cod2 but in cod4 it feels totally different.
It has a lot of campers and using a scope is useless and you're forced to camp if you're on defence.

Showdown may be a little too small and it will be frustrating to get killed by nades like intantly but still I prefer it ofer chinatown.

I would love Countdown in the rotation, it's fun to play any weapon/role on that map.

Countdown sucks for those of us who don't snipe. Also, for those of us who aren't observant enough to avoid the massive pitfalls.

Seems as tho nobody likes niptown. I personally DO NOT like the map but I know Psyko does. I have noticed a lot of players drop when the map comes on rotation. I'll have to do a vote on the forum for this

Thats a pretty damn good idea....Sort of like how CS does it? I'm not sure if it's a b3 plugin but i will have to look into that.

I think that is probably the best solution yet !

Towards the end of the map or at the end of the map it puts a vote on the screen and the players choose which map they want, so majority rules? Sounds fucking awesome to me.

I've played on servers where an admin could send out a vote for next map or xyz map.
Tbh Chinatown is far more popular map than pipeline. When it switches to pipeline the amount of players inlcuding admins drops to like 6 even 5-4 ... :/

im in full agreement with feur, the players drop when we get pipeline.. and idk what all this fuss about china town is.. i play full rotations on the server and we never get chinatown. i thought it was already taken out!

Yeah Niptown is already out of the rotation. I too experienced everyone dropping when it comes on.

I liked the idea of voting on the map, I know theres a mod that can do that, but that would force you into downloading somthing first time joiners

Right, this can only happen if the server is running a mod. Stock servers cannot have this option
