Map rotation problem:

Playing almost 6 maps on the server yesterday I found out why the server gets so empty half the time. We have "good" maps right after another, and bad maps are not followed by good maps. I played Overgrown, Pipeline, Vacant , Countdown, Killhouse. All right after another. The player count over the course of these maps never reached over a 5v5 (that was like peak time). End of countdown we had like a 3v3 (before poolboy and kirby joined). It got frustrating to play this map rotation after a while, even for me Sad. And all the sudden when Backlot came up it was a full server again!

Why don't we fresh it up?
Like so:
1.) Strike +++
2.) Overgrown ---
3.) Backlot +++
4.) Pipeline ---
5.) Crash +++
6.) Vacant ---
7.) Citystreets +++
8.) Countdown ---
9.) Crossfire +++
10.) Killhouse -+-
11.) Showdown -+-

The positives and negatives are just from my perspective. The negative maps are when ppl leave, while the positive maps player usually tend to join. Killhouse and showdown are refresher maps and are usually mixed opinions. If a player had enough of SD, he will most likely join Killhouse. But a 12+ man killhouse sometimes can be painful.

Just make the server a 24/7 Crash and call it good.

PS. Overgrown ROCKS... what's yo prob. with it??

MAYBE instead of having Killhouse FFA in there.... have a 3 Minute FFA Shipment for the lolz and a bit of a break.

This is not my personal preference btw. This is just what I see. When people leave. There is always going to be one that loves WET WORK for example.


Edit:
If it was for MY personal preference I would just play promod/Lan maps
-Crash
-Strike
-Backlot
-Citystreets
-maybe Vacant
