ok so... this is about the maps again.. pipeline has got to be like the worst map in the game.. i would rather play Old School S&D on Wetwork on console than play that map. now last night we were playing Vacant and the server was just flourishing, we had 16/16 and it was great.. there was rainbows and everyone was happy and smiling but then the game ended and they saw "Next Map: Pipeline" come up and right then, 6 people left. then when the pipeline game actually started, people kept leaving and by the 2nd round of pipeline there was 5 total people left in the server and it pretty much killed it for the rest of the night.. this seems to always happen soooooooooo im not saying change everything up completely but ATLEAST.. ATLEAST take pipeline out. also idk who put ambush back in but a lot of people leave on that map as well. IM JUST STATING THE FACTS HERE PEOPLE.

i think we should just have like 5 maps in rotation..

But I love pipeline and ambush. :'(

I think if there were only 5 maps the server would be so boring.

I don't love nor hate Pipeline, the map is average in my opinion and I snipe on it almost all the time.
But as you said people tend to leave when the map comes around so I think we should change that.
If I could choose, the only maps in the rotation would be official promod maps (district, crash, backlot, strike and crossfire).
Still, I think the rotation is perfect for a lot of people, except Showdown, that map is shit.

Poolboy's are people too, you know!

Speaking from experience, by the way, the votemap option that has been brought up in the past allows for trolls to really have some fun with the server's players. Might ruin things a lot. My old clan had the ability for any player to bring up a votemap command. And, being the dickhead I am, would start a vote for Shipment leave and come back to keep voting until the map switched.

Maybe we should have a forum wide vote? Include ALL maps (yes, including Downpour) and see what happens??

Theres absolutely no way to have a voting system implemented in our server as the server would need to be running a "mod" to do so.

I think the vote option that already exists in the game would be an option, although it would probably not work seeing as certain people would just vote kick anyone they want. (The "people" I'm talking about are the russians and the ragers that call everyone hackers...) But this would at least be an non-mod option.
