but it would be easier for you to just go download the yitch3 config.

WARNING: THIS WILL LOWER YOUR GRAPHICS.

STEP 1: Put the yitch3.cfg file into your main folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main

STEP 2: Open yitch3.cfg with notepad, use ctrl+f to search, search for "seta name" and change it from a.pyrex to your name. Close and save changes.

STEP 3: Open cod4 like usual, choose profile, open up the console and type "/exec yitch3.cfg" this will execute the congif and your done! you should have 15 - 20 more fps!

STEP 4 (optional but RECOMMENDED): Go to Multiplayer options > Graphics and turn off Anti-Aliasing, you can also lower your resolution and that will increase your fps way more than any cfg. Depending on if you turn off anti aliasing and how low you put the resolution, you could increase your fps by up to 100+ easily, so consider doing this!

yitch3 is a good FPS config, others along with user tweaked configs and pro configs (lol) can be found at CFGfactory.com They're great for skins too, which I recently stopped using skins cause IceOps thought my mario/luigi camos were cheats on PBSS.

If you need any help setting up your config hit one of us up. A few settings (like r_picmip 3, lodscalerigid, etc.) can have a dramatic effect on video performance. A pretty weak graphics card can get 125 @ 1280 res.

yeah i had to stop using skins as well because i was getting kicked for reason: MD5Tool Mismatch iw_00.iwd, everytime i joined any promod servers :/ Also, picmip and lodscalerigid are already included in the yitch3 i sent him!
